We are excited to share our updated Grab 5 Minutes of Wellbeing resources, the first step in a larger reorganisation of Grow Your Mind content to make everything simpler and easier to navigate. We know whole school wellbeing is not achieved through standalone Units of Work. It grows from consistent daily habits, shared language and small moments practised often. Grab 5 is designed to help build that positive culture, one quick activity at a time.

Teachers are time-poor, and wellbeing must be practical, not overwhelming. These refreshed micro practices weave wellbeing into the everyday rhythm of your classroom without adding to your workload. Think of it as wellbeing that respects your precious planning time and your even more precious sanity.

Grab 5 is grounded in the belief that authentic wellbeing happens in small, repeated moments. Each activity takes less than five minutes, is easy to follow and features a clean new design with simple, actionable activities for each day of the week. Just click a link and go straight to what you need. No digging, no scrolling, just purposeful practices that respond to what your students need in the moment.

This update also helps you make the most of the rich wellbeing library Grow Your Mind already offers. With clearer pathways and a more intuitive structure, it’s easier to find what you need and teach wellbeing effectively. Think of it as tidying a drawer and suddenly remembering you own useful things.

Objectives of Grab 5
- Make wellbeing a daily habit for students through short, meaningful practices woven into classroom routines.
- Recognise that positive school culture comes from consistent, everyday wellbeing habits and shared language, not Units of Work alone.
- Ensure wellbeing is authentic, applicable and responsive to students’ real-time experiences.
- Make it easy for teachers to teach wellbeing skills with quick, accessible, ready-to-use activities.
- Ensure our wellbeing library can be found easily and used well through clearer organisation and simplified navigation.
We will continue adding each term of the year and keeping content fresh so you don’t need to reinvent anything annually. Term 1 is ready to go, and Term 2 will be released next year.
